Chris's experience in the commercial management of industrial projects spans from 1992, with involvement in the construction of the National Exhibition centre hall 10 development in Birmingham, and Britvic high-bay warehouse and distribution centre, Leicester (John Laing PLC).
Chris's Middle Eastern experience involved the delivery of several key industrial developments at Dubai Aluminium (Dubal) between 1996 and 2002, including the Falcon, Condor, and Kestrel developments involving the expansion of Pot rooms, cast-houses, turbine power generation areas, paved storage areas, ancillary buildings, infrastructure works, and below ground services.
Between 1997 and 1998, Chris was seconded to JLAL Laing Alarko (Uzbekistan) to deliver a self-contained manufacturing facility including warehousing, production buildings, water treatment plants, sewage plants, fire stations, offices and infrastructure works including 7 km of HV infrastructure works for Uzbat, working in collaboration with Alarko Contracting (Turkey), Mott Macdonald and Beard Dove Quantity Surveyors (UK).
Whilst a Director at RPM, Martin has assisted known brands such as GrundFos, Xerox and TNT in rationalising their property portfolio to better suit their operational capability. In most cases this has involved a business case approach against several options. This has typically led to team appointment including full procurement of both Consultancy and Contractor services
