Local authority strategic review of estates and FM function
West Sussex County Council appointed BWA, via a competitive tender process, to review its Facilities Management Department (FM) operations and resources with a view to the Council implementing improvements and an organisational restructure. The Council sought to maximise the effective use of resources; deliver operational savings; develop strategic efficiencies; encourage risk reduction and implement IT systems improvements to support efficient service delivery and maximise customer satisfaction. Furthermore the Council wished to increase confidence by gaining “buy-in” from other Council departments.
