Christopher Wragg has acquired over 25 years of international experience in the Construction industry, spanning the European, North American, Central Asian and the Middle Eastern markets.
He is a Chartered Surveyor with a distinguished track record in Commercial management, heading commercial departments and divisions of large multi-national companies. He has led large teams of professionals in the development of high-profile international construction projects and specialist trading businesses serving the construction industry.
With over 15 years in the U.A.E. market, Chris has obtained an extensive knowledge of project delivery and commercial management processes from project inception to completion, understanding the needs of the Client and applying best practise to achieve common objectives of project stakeholders.
He has acquired multi-discipline experience in the fields of commercial management, tendering, quantity surveying, procurement, claims preparation and evaluation, and risk management. In working within Client, Main Contractor and Sub Contractor corporations, he has obtained a holistic insight and understanding of each specific business operation involved in the procurement and project development process.
Chris has pulled together and managed the teams necessary for main-stream project delivery. He also has experience in reviewing and implementing process improvement behind setting-up new businesses and managing professional teams for specific trading businesses serving the construction industry, specialising in off-site pre-fabrication and pre-cast construction techniques, piling and ground engineering, joinery and fit-out, steel fabrication and temporary works.
He is an assessor and panel chairman for the RICS assessment of professional competence candidate interviews, a member of the Gulf Society of Construction law and a member of the Al Moltaka Society of Construction Professionals in Dubai.
